As previously reported on jeetwin24.com, unified light heavyweight champion Andre Ward announced Thursday he is retiring from boxing because he no longer has the desire to fight, leaving the sport at age 33 with an undefeated record. Ward released a statement on his website titled "Mission Accomplished " thanking those who helped him throughout his career and explaining his reasons for his retirement.

I liked Froch, but that Ward defeat NEVER set well with him.

People dis Ward as a boring fighter, but he fought damn near all the guys he needed to. He was far from boring and displayed skill, IQ, and mixed it up between defense and offense.

He fought at every range-inside , mid range and outside but this was just not enough for some of the *****y boxing casuals....if he fought on the outside , then casuals say he's running and when he fought on the inside, fans would ***** and moan that he was too rough.....
