Mikey stay lying. Arum has said many times he would love to make Mikey vs Loma. Loma also called Mikey out after Rigo. Mikey has been doing this on purpose ever since he signed with Haymon, which is name-dropping all the top guys but then coming up with excuses at the last minute of why he can't fight any of them, and always trying to blame the other side.
Now with Mikey recently saying his goal is to become boxing's next PPV star, it's obvious what he's been doing. He is on the Al Haymon/Floyd blueprint plan of trying to make as many headlines as possible to make himself more known, but avoiding all the tough fights so that he doesn't lose. He's going to keep cherry picking weak champs in multiple divisions so he can call himself an "undefeated 5 weight world champ" or whatever like Floyd and try to start marketing himself for PPV sales.
Best to just ignore pretenders like this until they actually fight someone. Otherwise, if you pay them attention when they fight easy fights, they will just keep fighting easy fights forever for the money. Mikey doesn't seem to love the sport like Loma does, he just seems to care about money. That's why he retired for 3 years, he didn't mind it at all because he doesn't even seem to like boxing.
