Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Hopes Chisora Gets Title Crack at Deontay Wilder

Before Dillian Whyte held on to secure a decision win over Joseph Parker, there was a classic heavyweight encounter at the O2 Arena in London - between unpredictable Briton Dereck Chisora and Cameroon-born Frenchman Carlos Takam, two fighters who have had their chance at world title glory.

I'd like to see this fight. Chisora just needs to stay in close against Wilder and it's game over.

Wilder like to fight at range and throw those hideous shots against targets like the Homer Simpsons of this world. Wait until the British bulldog gets in close and just destroys him inside of 6 rounds.

Chisora literally eats pain for breakfast, Wilders power is overrated. He struggled to knock down Charlie Z and he is a 140lb guy... These fighters who Wilder cherry picks fold under the lights and sound of 1,500 ******ed Wilder fans dribbling. Chisora, Whyte, AJ, Price, Allen wouldn't fold like that. I saw on his instagram he was at his farm yesterday in a giant ice bath in a flat cap and sunglasses, what a guy.

Then Wembley 2019 the heavyweights on the card will be as followed:

AJ -v- Chisora - Chisora gets sparked out but retires a very wealthy man.
Wilder -v- Parker - Wilder knocks out Parker to set up an AJ clash
Whyte -v- Miller - Both disqualified for trash talking instead of fighting

These fights could sell as their own main events but that card in April is going to be stacked if AJ gets past Povetkin.

It's fair to say that Chisora deserves a shot, but he'd just be fodder for Wilder. Takam doesn't hit particularly hard and he was beating Chisora up and had him in trouble at a few points. If he gets hits by Wilder's bombs it'll be very different. He's only been badly knocked out by David Haye, and he doesn't want a repeat of that.

By cherry pick you mean Luis Ortiz (the guy AJ never spoke of despite him being a mandatory)? Pretty sure Stiverne was ranked high when he had the belt as well.

Chisora gets destroyed...No way is he gonna eat Wilder right hands. No HW fighting today will be able to absorb them without memory loss and a change of attitude after waking up.

Even the worst of fan girls don’t claim Wilder has no power. I guess I’ve finally met one. Do you sit when you pee? If so from to back ok?

LOL.. We know the WBC is corrupt to it's core. Stiverne was literally a human punchbag.

I will reserve judgement on just how big his punching power is until he has fought a couple of big players in the division. - Please note I'm not saying he doesn't hit hard because it's obvious to everyone that he has a lot of punching power but I think there are harder hitting heavyweights.

Another example of this is GGG (I'm a fan) he hits hard and even Super Middles right up to heavyweights who have sparred with him say he is a big hitter but when he has stepped up and started facing the top level opposition he hasn't stopped them.

There are levels in this business and when you are fighting someone who doesn't truly want to (or believe that they can) win they will fold as soon as they reach a point in the fight were they need to bite down on their gumshield.... Malik Scott for example.

              This fight makes zero sense.

Why does Chisora deserve a shot exactly? Maybe if he was in his prime this would be an interesting fight, but he's well passed his best.

Pretty sure Ortiz wanted to win....Yet he still got knocked out by Wilder who weighed around 210...I'd say that's real power. Who do you believe hits harder punch for punch in the HW division???

                    I've noticed something.
Y'all ever realize that when Whyte,Parker's and etc of the world call out Deontay Wilder they never even talk about how they think they can win, it's all typical mumbo jumbo about wanting the fight. I don't hear them say "He's such and such adn I can exploit that and beat him".
