I think Golovkin coudda been an all time middleweight great.
He just got old after going against Canelo for 24 rounds.
He also got greedy and a ltttle lazy too.
Why is he not fighting Andrade or Saunders or...

He has a belt, and it would be a unification for all the belts. Come on....you know it. Why ask? I agree that Andrade has a shoddy record, but Canelo vs Andrade for all the belts is more attractive than GGG for the 3rd time. Everybody knows what will happen with Canelo vs GGG 3. A close fight that goes to the cards. Canelo wins disputed decision.

I feel Golovkin may need another fight before Alvarez with this new trainer. He was sloppy and Rolls was working him in parts of that fight. Golovkin still has enough left to beat Alveraz, but not with a performance even close to that. His entire career boils down to a third fight with Alvarez and a win. If he does not get it, he will be colored forever as the fighter who failed when he stepped up. He wins, he is 1-1-1 with one of the best of this generation. One more fight, tightened up D, then a May 5 fight for his legacy. I feel he gets owned in September.

What you suggest makes a lot of sense, but Golovkin will avoid Andrade or anyone else who could possibly pose a threat. He does not want to risk losing the Canelo gravy train.

True and Golovkin shouldnt have to jump through hoops to get the rematch. He arguably won the first fight, then lost the second. He deserves a shot to win his belts backs

I too had Golvokin winning the 1st fight and losing the 2nd. No one is asking GGG to jump through hoops. Canelo's goal is to unify the belts. That is a laudable goal for any fighter, a goal that GGG himself professed to seek. GGG has had several opportunities to fight for a championship but has chosen to fight extremely week opposition instead and is relying on the media and DAZN to pressure Canelo to fight him. That just sucks in my opinion. He should fight either Andrade or Charlo and, if he wins, make a third fight that much more compelling. He is not entitled to jump to the head of the line. These young guys deserve their chance.
