I vaguely remember Garcia being kind of dismissive of this match-up a year or two ago. It isn't surprising that he wants to fight Pacquiao now, as beating Pac will put him above Thurman. Let's face it: Pac is on borrowed time, one of these guys may likely retire him. Garcia is hoping to be the one to do so.

Oddly enough, I kinda want to see Khan/Garcia 2. A decent stay-busy for Garcia, and a chance at redemption for Khan. It'd be a way of measuring how far they've both come since their first fight. It'd be the best way for Khan to earn a spot among the top 5, and not just weasel his way into the conversation like he usually does.

Everyone already knows that the fight isn’t happening until Spence fights the other welterweights with PBC first. Why would PBC want to put Spence with Crawford when they have Pacquiao, Garcia, Thurman, Ugas, etc. to match him up against. I get it’s business but it sucks for the fans since we always have to constantly wait really long for the fights we want to see the most. Arum on the other hand has no one at all to match Crawford with right now until the Spence fight happens.

Garcia has no shame. First of all, he doesn't deserve a payday. He's been fighting bums after bums and whenever he steps up to fight a top fighter, he comes up short. Beating a 40 yr old has been is not the way to redeem yourself Danny. Go fight Mikey or Ugas to redeem yourself. And better yet, fight Crawford. You don't deserve that paycheck.
