    RENO, Nevada Andre Ward thinks the Sergey Kovalev he fought twice is long gone. "The Krusher," according to Ward, no longer exists. The retired Ward believes the version of Kovalev that earned that nickname the man he edged by unanimous decision and then beat by eighth-round technical knockout would've been much more difficult for Canelo Alvarez to handle Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

    There is also weight restriction. Weigh-in in the fight day. Limit 185 pounds. Shame for clenelo.

      the guy is an egomaniac. ward, like conor and mayweather, become so full of themselves and their heads become so far lodged up their own asses that they start wearing big round glasses - "Mhmmm yess, quite. I found his performance, frankly speaking, very droll and uninspired. *sips red wine from diamond glass*"

      m8, we saw you lose to krusher and then smack him in the balls fifty times in the rematch, we dont need you to comment on every fight as if you are the supreme knowledge on anything and everything boxing.

      nothing more cringe than seeing people wear glasses to appear 'more smarter', they always carry themselves like such pretentious *******s.

          I picked Yarde to beat Kovalev for all the same reasons and more, but Yarde is a real LH with some pop. Now I'm going with Kovalev because Canelo isn't a LH and isn't scaring anybody at 175. If Kovalev blows it, I won't feel bad. He's getting paid enough to do anything, including humble himself in search of rematch money. Actually, he wants to get robbed on world wide TV, that would play right into his pockets.

              You picked the guy who never beat anyone worth mentioning but now pick against the guy heavily favored to win, the guy who cannot lose on the scorecards?

                    What I’m about to say has nothing to do with Ward because I’m still a fan of his.

                    It doesn’t matter how many intricacies Canelo haters bring up, the facts still remain, there are no other 160-168 fighters whom called out Kovalev.

                    If Haymon and PBC shills swear by PPV and it’s strength then why didn’t Haymon offer Charlo vs Kovalev a nice guarantee plus PPV upside?

                    If the LDBc claim to run narratives in boxing, then they would easily, in theory, help sell Charlo vs Kovalev as strong as Spence vs Mikey. That’s a fact. Kovalev is getting $3mil guaranteed plus extra. So Luis Ortiz could make that but not Kovalev?

                    You guys sit on them apples for a second. But if you Caneo haters choose to be in denial, then perhaps sit on bananas instead.
