Anthony Joshua understands Kubrat Pulev's reluctance to step aside and help allow a Joshua-Tyson Fury fight to take place. Agreed, the WBC clearly changed rules to allow Wilder to avoid Whyte...a disgrace. I don't blame Wilder, his PBC advisors made more $$$ fighting cans and Fury. I was critical of Wilder's excuses but after seeing Fury beat Wilder so easily I understood why they were soooo reluctant to face Whyte.

That said, the WBC does not get a pass. Suliman's changing rules, franchise moniker and use of PED's distorts rankings to favor high bidder. The WBC is a belt that can be bought.

AJ would almost surely loose vs the Fury who destroyed Wilder. Too aggressive, too big, too good overall. So I think it's better, for him, to face Pulev and hope that Fury ruins himself once again, in the meanwhile.
