Hey yall, I don't post here but I have a question. Right now, I train MMA. Not full time, but train BJJ/Muay Thai/Judo. However, I find boxing VERY interesting and it's something I'd love to do. I just turned 18. If I found a boxing trainer would I be able to go anywhere w/ it starting so late in my life? Or would it just add to my conditioning/MMA arsenal.

18 isnt bad. I started at 18. Theres a guy I train with who started at 25 and in 5 months hes already 2-0 as an amatuer. All these guys talk about it being too late, but only a small amount of boxers are actually sucsessful as pros to begin with.

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna try and find a boxing gym or at least coach somewhere in my area.

Yeah. By "doing anything" w/ boxing, I meant not getting my ass kicked too bad in amature fights by people who've been doing it since they were 12.
And I love training MMA. I'd never quit unless I had no choice.
