Gym nearby with Brian Demorest as the trainer, theres good talk about him from what I hear but don't hear too much. Anyone know?
Billy Costello is another. And a new one by Ray Sheenan.
Well I live in detroit, and as you all know the KRONK gym is shut down here and has moved to the suburbs (go figure) and all the trainers spread throughout the cities rec. gyms. I myself get coached by James Lester Sr who's a KRONK trainer but a few days ago a guy named Tom "BOOM BOOM" Johnson walked in the gym. One of the older trainers asked if I ever heard of him and I said no. But I went and googled him, turns out he was the Featherwieght IBF champ from 93-98 being the only American featherwieght to defend his title 11 times where he lost his belt to Prince Naseem. He comes in and trains us for free! He said he does it just to give back which I thought was great. Do any of you that fight have any notable trainers or former notable fighters that train guys at your gym?
Ps: It helps your moral a hell of a lot also knowing a guy like that is in the gym correcting you!
i live in brockton and i think im gonna start going to capiello bros gym, rich capiello is mike olivers promoter so im thinking they have some good trainers
