yeah i was with a frend and these 4 guys ( all black gang members) come up talkin smack about streetfighting and ****.............i always carry two pairs of gloves on me so i says how bout we lace up? one by one ill box u all...........so we make our way from the mall over to a little grassed park type area, i box the first guy (he looked about 200 lbs and he was bout 6''3) and i sorta jab and move, wait for him pick the moment......about a minute and a half in i catch him flush with a right and down he goes, blood coming from his nose cant walk properly....the next one stpes up, we glove up after a short rest and he barely lasts 20 secs before i lay him out with a body shot. he was pretty fat though. so third one accepts, hes pretty angry and i just let him miss with nearly every shot for bout 2 mins before tagging him with a hard check hook (ala floyd) and he stumbles forward a few yards due to the punch and crashes face first into a tree. hes out for a few seconds but he comes to and it all cool, no bad injury just a bleeding nose a sore head and a badly dented ego. fourth dude rises to the challenge he wanting revenge and hes pissed. he charges at me and im to tired to ***** around with moving so we clash and trade shots. hes a bit bigger (about 180) few inches taller, fairly muscular and the best boxer out of the 4....we both land pretty jarring blows but im the least hurt, after a minute of contant swinging i begin to push him back with hard straights, i walk into a few haymakers in my eagerness to finish him and i nearly fall but i regroup and down him with a left hook and he jumps up str8 away and falls down agen and gets up and nose dives back down so i feel sorry for him and his little buddies so i give them all some money for a subway home and me and my frend leave. im in good shape prety happy.

i am starting to really hate this threads, cmon guys post this on the misc section or something like that, even if this was real this is boxing training and nutrition, this is irrelevant and ******, and falser than most religions.

the thing i hate the most its that this threads get thousands of responses and stay up in the front page for many days.

what do u guys say we make this forums a favor and let this threads disappear.

This reminds me of when I was about 10 and this kid pissed me off and I had this ****ty toy punchbag thing and I punched it that night and broke it, I went into school the next day and acted well tough because "i'd broken my punchbag preparing for this fight".

Now look at this story, first of all, why do you have two sets of gloves? But this can happen I mean i've got two sets of mitts, so ok, we'll move past this point, but why would you carry them around with you? You made no mention of it being after training which means you're just some weirdo who walks around with two sets of gloves in his bag for no reason? Also, why would the gang stick by the 1 vs 1 rule after they watched you supposedly show boxing skill? If a gang is gonna start on two kids for no reason, they're not exactly bound by great morals so I wouldn't doubt they'd just fill you both in as a group. Also, not many gloves have laces anymore. My gym has a stack of lace ups but they're old and club gloves, most gloves now are velcro and seems as you own yours yourself, you'd most likely have velcro. I mean looks at Sugar Rays in the U.K

Here's how the story really went:

You're 15/16, you watched Rocky, saw a boxing match or played a boxing game and you bought some cheap gloves/mitts with your brother/friends like I did when I was about 14. You "box" each other, one of you won and you all thought you were hardcore and hence forth refered to yourselves or self as (a) boxer/s. Something along those lines.
