Getting more colds/mild flu like symptons when training

Since I have been back training for the last 4 or 5 months I find myself getting mild colds and sore throats more than before. I have stopped smoking and drinking and all the bad habits all together, eating well and training regularly without overdoing it, dropped a few kgs too. I dont know if this is happening because of the change in lifestyle or what.
Anyone else get this and what do you find helps to prevent this happening?

    It might be overtraining.

Or maybe when you sweat a lot in the gym and leave into the fresh air, your body isn't insulated enough, and you might be catching a cold from that.

One day I worked so damn hard in the gym that the next day (and week) I had a cold. ****ed dizzy head and everything on that day too.

    Talk to you doctor perhaps.

My coach makes us all wear our jackets and kit when leaving the gym even when we are sweating as it really allows you to cool down better and helps you relax more with no drastic changes in temperature.

Yeah when I leave the gym I have about 3 layers on because I sweat like a mother****er during the workouts. Rather do that than to take a week off due to a ****ty cold or something.

Looks like your coach knows his **** and cares for his fighters. Props to him man.

I get it all the time.

          A. Your working harder than your body is used to

          or

          B. the gym youre is a bit cooler than usual. I know that for a fact because I'll run outside in the heat and be fine but when I go inside to a gym that's maybe 76-79 degrees I get the sniffles.

yeah its defenitly over training it happend to me today. i was doing road work for a hour in the morning and at night yesterday. and then hitting the gym 4 2hours this whole week. so after about 2 days i started getting a really sore throat. then today i woke up feeling extremily week. my stomach hurt the best thing to do is to stay in bed. i slept until 1:00 today then felt pretty good. i ate some ziti and then went to the gym for a light workout.
