    hey everyone i train twice a week at my current boxing club which is pro each training session is a hour but is very hard at home i have a speed rope a speedbgas and looking at a rowing manchine a double end bag what should i do at home if i want to get very good at boxing

    shadow boxing shadow boxing shadow boxing... including defence. concentrate on technique and drill on single punches, defence moves and combinations using bags, handweights or whatever. be creative.

    try and meet up with some other serious boxers (ones without egos) outside of the gym for sparring drills. focus on one thing at a time and build up for muscle memory. you will then learn to react with the correct technique without thinking.

      ok i work on shadow boxing alot what else

        Ask your trainer what you can do at home and do that.

        WOrk on conditioning. Things like pushups, pullups, situps, crunches, squats, burpees, jump rope. Running.

          But make sure you are working on boxing related skills, not just conditioning.
