streetfights can be potentialy more dangerous though.

however, it really is not so hard to subdue a drunk with no training at all.

i have met guys, who considered streetfights, as pat of their work in being bodyguard. and these included weapons. so, i guess it depends a lot on the person's experience.

but, just suddenly right-crossing a drunken guy who is hitting on yor girl should not count lol

those ^ are what i think gets passed around as a streetfight. not fighting 3 on 1 while also having to worry about weapons.

I had a fight with this guy Kurt, he used to hang around with all these girls, and he beat up some pub dwellers pretty bad, everyone thought he was bad ass, however when he came at me I was able to land about 5 solid shots on his slow ass easy as, he was cut over the eye and I think he had a broken nose, he started holding then and it got pulled apart, he didn't land one hit on me. Seriously, if you can box you have a huge advantage in those situations.

haha, yeah. boxers have advantage. as do martial artists - well, some of them. i dont buy into the guys who have ablackbelkt and think they are invincible. they are actually comical. we dont even have belts in most of the "real" groups - the MAists that train with sparring and have guys enter full contact comps.

and that once punch/kick stop/point sparring gives people a false sense of being able to fight. point sparring is more like a begginning training method. should not be a comp.

sorry for my rant. just wanna make it clear to some of u that in our community we frown on big egos of people simply cause they won a trophy from a patty cake tourny.
