    What are these gloves??? (PICS)

I saw these on DelaHoya vs. Mayweather 247. They are cleto reyes but which kind? Are they just the pro fight gloves 10oz? They look like they have alot more padding then that but they do not have the padding over the wrist like the Cleto Reyes training gloves have.

I like how you can open your hand in them which makes me think they are the 10oz pro fight gloves. The padding really throws me off though, it looks like a 16oz or maybe its just his wraps under? I really want to get a pair. What do you guys think?

Why dont u email Cleto Reyes these pics? The padding looks much thicker than the normal Reyes training glove and they look too big to be Reyes fight gloves.

i think those are 8-10oz reyes pro fight gloves.

oscar is probably wearing way more gauze/wrap/tape/whatever inside them, since there is no limit to how much gauze/tape you can use unlike in the actual fights.

also, reyes changed the way they contruct their pro fight gloves, starting in 2006 i think.

the old ones, uses horsehair/foam padding, and looks more slim.

the new ones, uses a thicker foam padding called "Safetec", no horsehair, and looks bulkier than the original reyes.

a few months ago i purchased a pair of 10oz reyes pro fight gloves from Ebay, the seller advertised they were directly from the reyes factory in Mexico, not the ones sold @ ringside.com. when i received them, they were much more "bulky" and "softer" than i expected. that's when i did some research and found out about these Safetec updated versions.

the reyes pro fight gloves sold @ ringside.com are the original horsehair reyes, but with the new Logo.

i even called ringside to ask if their reyes pro fight gloves still use horsehair, and they said yes.

so, it's probably a combination of extra tape/gauze/wrapping, and the updated reyes gloves, that makes it look so bulky. (it could also be a custom Size/weight, like 12oz)

by the way, if you look @ Kelly Pavlik vs. Hopkins fight, you can notice Pavlik's gloves look bulkier than Hopkins' "Grant" brand gloves.
