sometimes i use them on the heavybag. but i mostly stick to my 16oz imf tech.

i dunno, i just wanted to own a pair of the same kind of gloves that most elite level boxers use in pro fights, lol.

Also, don't forget, if you contact reyes directly you can customize the glove - like having 16oz of padding in a 12oz profile. That actually kinda looks like what Oscar did. It lets you "overstuff" the padding on the glove, allowing you extra padding without having to deal with "hangar bays" for glove pockets.

I was thinking of doing this either with 16oz in the profile of a 14 or 18 in the profile of a 16, so I can have some snug fitting gloves that say "16oz".

oh hell yea im doing that if its available. but i read that the have all of the cuts preset for the amount of foam (or oz the glove will be) and that it is impossible for them to do that, definitely gonna send some emails tomorrow.

ive talked to cleto reyes in mexico but i wasnt sure if you could place orders to them.

well, yeah, only when using 180inch wraps with them.


but not so much when adding a pair of Winning NG-2 Gel knuckle guards under the wraps, OR a whole 10 yards of gauze folded for knuckle padding, with the wraps.

Looks custom-made. Seeing as how Oscar is a millionaire, it wouldn't surprise me if he got custom-maderCleto Reyes suited to his needs (i.e. better hand protection). He's gotten Orange and Violet ones in his last two fights, but those were cosmetic as opposed to functional changes.
