    Running question

Ok, i used to run 2/3 miles daily during the day

somebody recently told me that i should run in parks or forests because there is a lot of pollution in the air caused by the cars and can effect my health. Especially my breathing and in boxing thats the most important thing, so i dont obviously want a problem.

Is running where there is quite a bit of cars going past a danger, im not saying i run on the road { i dont lol } but for health issues?

I am unable to run in a park or forest for specific reasons so do you suggest for me to run early morning { 5/6am }when not many cars are around?

Just to let you know, in my previous fights I have had trouble doing a solid 3 rounds because of holding my breath in while throwing shots, do you think the pollution can have a effect on me doing a solid 3 rounds while boxing

    thanks

You should make it a priority to select a time to run in which there are little or few cars around, yes. Not only for the short term effects (being hit by a car, your breathing, etc.) but as a little known secret gasoline commonly contains uranium, benzene, barium, and a host of other toxic elements. And when those are burned through cars and inhaled from the air enough, it can cause long term effects (cancers, lupus, autoimmune diseases, etc.). Basically make an effort to not breathe exhaust not only for short term and boxing goals but for your health and future as well. With that being said, I generally find early morning jogs better so yes, you might enjoy that more as well. You can get more thinking done when it's just you and empty nature.

That's not cause of pollution, that's becasue you're too tense and need to relax more.

Exhale forcefully with each punch you throw and when you're not punching breathe normally. When you're totally out of range of your opponent take deep breaths.

i stay away from road as much as possible....my run i might pass ten cars max......any more and i'd change my route..I'm running to make my stamina better....running with exhaust fumes ion my face defeats the purpose

i think running in the park is a lot better than running out on the road in the middle of traffic,in the park you have open areas that while you run you can run in spurts and not worry about having a car or a pedestrian getting in your way,in the park you have a tranquil surrounding and after you finishing your run you can use the park bench as a resting place,
