    Pre/Post workout meals

    I'm around 206 and I'm trying to drop 15% body fat and get to 175. I'm asking for suggestions on meals that you are eating

    Depends what kind of workout your doing.
    Pre workout Fruit is always a safe bet no matter what kind of diet you are on!

    During workout keep hydrating yourself with water,
    If you are doing weights I would recommend a whey protein shake after workout, with a banana then an hour later eat some lean meat,
    E.g. Chicken fillet or Steak with a salad or pasta (again depending on diet.)

      And for your carbs, always try to go for whole grain things. Whole wheat pasta, whole grain bread. You need those carbs, but in general when you're talking about your complex carbs you want them to be as low GI as possible. If you're not used to it they do kinda taste like ****, but you get used to it pretty quick. Brown rice and whole wheat pasta are totally "normal" to me now. Just remember, even if you're trying to lose weight, we're not 45 year old soccer moms, if you're training hard you'll need those carbs to keep functioning.

        I needed to cut about 30 lbs. so I could pull a Nonito Donaire and beat up on little guys-- to do it, I didn't ask anonymous people on a messageboard.

        I just looked up what Ricky Hatton does and I did it. Not exactly, because I don't have all his fancy equipment and expensive protein shakes.

        But I ran 5 miles a day, I limited my caloric intake to about 1500-1800 per day.

        3 months later (give or take), 30 lbs. lighter. Easy work. Actually it was ridiculously hard but I mean it was easy as far as what to do. Actually doing it was murder.
