DPG - the abbreviation of nDs-mPeG, is a special format of video specifically for playback using the homebrew Moonshell program for the Nintendo DS. This format is written by Mr. Moonlight, it is applied in the NDS’s (a portable video game developed, released in 2004.) unofficial moon shell software, and also this video format can make NDS game console playable.
