IMO is a 5/10.
Good things.
1. It has more boxers, more fighting styles, and the philly shell is obviously the best in the game (IMO).
2. What i liked about career mode is when you fight someone as strong as your character he becomes your rival, you get to fight him a couple of times in career mode which at the end when you retire the rival matches you had ends up on espn classic and you get to play it with out of career mode.
3. the 2 characters BIG E & Goliath, i just unlocked them and they seem pretty strong, although who the hell is big e? is he just a created FN character or was he a boxing character in past boxing games? (
).
4. the signature moves are awsome (especially the roy jones jr move, when he taunts you with his arms open and fires a quick right hand) and the joe frazier left hook is amazing.
5. The reactions of the blows are awsome, in round 2 you hit a boxer into the mid section and when he went down his head was moving to the sides in a sense that you hit him in the face, in this game you hit a boxer in the stomach he takes a knee and went he can't take it anymore he stays down and knods his head as to say no more.
Bad things about it.
1. Too many advertisement, exp : the burger king challenge, the dodge challenge where a car appears and the announcer says you can win this car blah blah blah..
2. there is NO rankings, you get to sign a contract..which it's complete bull****, in round 2 if you just got to the pro's which is #48 on the rankings you can look and fight a guy who is #42 and you can get more money while fighting quality opponents and get a title shot with ease, but in round 3 not like that.
3. the boxers get tired wayy too easy when you throw 3-10 right hooks and jabs, in round 2 the boxers didn't get tired that easy.
4. When you're the champion you don't see the boxer holding the title or someone behind you with the title raised up which completely sucks.
5. the cutman is not visible next to the trainer when you're making your way in to the ring.
