Fifa 2011 give me your HONEST impression on the game.

As much as I love this game and the changes they have made I can't but being a bit frustrated at it and here's why:

The pace. They've slowed the pace of the game a great deal. They started doing this on 10 and have continued doing this in 11. This makes for fewer ''Oh ****'' moments.

The Passing. As much as I agree that a football game should take practice and finesse to master it rather annoys me when I lose the ball because the passing fall short due to that players midiocre statistic in long passes.

breaking open the other team for that shot at goal seems fewer and far between. in 09 I remember me and my buddies switching between running to the other end to score a goal. Passes went perfect without much effort and then it was only to choose which side of the goal you wanted to ball in. They made it harder in 10 but now I find that the play is happening at the center of the field. This probably make for a more realistic experience but also a dull one.

On the plus side I love the smooth feel of the game and the enhanced graphics. Players isn't as robotic when they fall and tackle.

Ya I agree with you the game pace is really slow for me I kinda get bored. But overall its a good game if u never played a fifa game.

i dont like how they made it slow, manager mode was brought down a lot, and the defending hard for me cuz my guys like swurl around the guy who they are chasing and just go behind him they dont run for the ball.

The game has frozen and glitched on me it shows the roaster of the last team i picked then it freezes

imma end up playing it but IMO fifa 10 and 2010WC>>>>>>>Fifa 11, but i think after a few weeks ill like fifa 11 a lot more my record is like 9W-2L-1D

Played as Juventus against Lazio on Professionel. Usually I **** on that difficulty but had the game freeze on me midway for a few seconds (Never happened in a fifa gamr before for me) and I just couldn't break past their defenders, not enough speed and need some getting used to the new passings. Had a few long shots but no luck. The CPU ended up having one shot on target which it of course scored on ending the match 1-0 for Lazio.

It definitely takes some getting used to.

i havent played much against the computer i play a few games with my boy then i went straight to the online. i suck vs the computer cuz it like knows wat u r gunna do, but im pretty good against ppl cuz they are pretty predictable if u play and watch the sport.

It's true, how you play against the CPU and against your buddies is different entirely.

yup all my buddiesn laugh at me when i play on semi pro cuz on professional the bot owns me then i laugh at them when i blow them out 4-0, 5-0 and such.

although im still mad they made manager mode so ****ty....

me and all of my friends are incredibly frustrated with the game.

i mean they have definentely went the "simulation" route and it makes fifa 10 seem almost arcadey

but the reason i play a soccer game is to enjoy it.

i find myself incredibly frustrated at least 3 out of 5 games i play.

scoring was already some what hard on 10 but on 11 its down right ridiculous.

they have totally killed break away goals and are forcing you to work from the wings more..........like real soccer.

but i want to play real soccer ill go grab a group of buddies and play a pick up game
