I’m going to take a cold shower every single day for two months

I heard it is good for your skin and heart? Saw a video out there of some other guy who did this for one month just recently. Didn’t actually click on it because that’d be smart. I’ll keep you updated. Canary in the coal mine.

    Day #1:

that was cold. But it turned off any bad thoughts I had from the previous night where I told my date that I had once converted a lesbian. My skin feels fresher. More solid. Hard to describe. If I start coming ass as schizo then feel free to put a round in my head

I've been practicing the Wim Hof Method for a month consistently. I do breathing exercises in the morning and a cold shower at night.

The breathing and mindset help you acclimate and deal with the cold. Now it's every easy for me to go into my shower, turn it to cold and do my shower.

Red - been doing that all my life and I never had to get my mind right to do it.

How you finding it man? Did it a few times back around the start of the year but my shower only goes to lukewarm and pulling a cold bath for it was too much of a pain in the ass for everyday though I did it a few times.

There's also a couple runs sessions in the river right near me though they tend to use slightly modified breathwork (they cater to rich housewives but let me and Ms Koba tag along for free cos we know em from years back) before dipping in the river.. Did that once when there was an actual ground frost, man, thought my heart was gonna stop for a second.

Thing is I ain't really been consistent enough to get any long term benefits even though it's exhilarating as **** in the moment, you reckon you're feeling the benefits doing it as a daily practice?

              Day #2:

showers used to be a place where ideas are born. I just got out of the shower and it was as though I had leaped forward 10 minutes into the future. Did not have a single thought. Its like a strange form of meditation that you’re forcing yourself into.

Tried answering the phone right after I got out. Was shivering on the phone in the middle of a heat wave lol.

I’m going as cold as it gets. The trick is to stand in there with your feet first for a minute and then get your head wet before slowly walking your entire body into the ******. Don’t want to go into shock.

Skin feels great and I feel more refreshed than from a usual shower. It’s like I dumped all negativity in there.

The biggest challenge I find is breathing through it properly and not gasping or hyperventilating at first out of pure shock.

Cold showers are good but don't do this "cold shock" full submersion bollox that's taking off now (like going to your nearest sea at 5am and jumping in) . The few people I know that jumped on it literally just break out into uncontrollable shivering fits randomly regardless of the heat in the area and I'm certain they are screwing their core temperature lol.

                    Day #3:

The right way to do this might actually be to slowly transition from hot
to cold. I’m no scientist but I’m reminded of Alien 3. Spoilers. where you kill the beast with hot and then cold. My skin is cracking up. I’m not entirely sure if that’s due to my drinking or the experiment. This operation has been compromised. I’m going to stop drinking and continue with the showers.
