going to college, I only had to drive 36 miles but yet it took me an hour in a half due to SF traffic. If I got to school in an hour, that'd be considered a good day, but majority of the time it was an hour in a half. On days where it's raining and folks cause accidents, it can turn into 2-2.5hr(one time it took 3 f'in hours cuz of all the accidents)

after college, my job before undergrad was still in SF but instead of 36 miles it was 41 miles and that same commute. so take my same commute to college and add that extra 5 miles and that's even more time
