Short version, I strongly feel like collectivism in any regard is a bad idea for any nation and would back that with examples of American exceptionalism put next to American individualistic law and other nations' collectivism laws both past and present.

That said, there's nothing morally wrong with it, I don't think. I think once a population believes in the lie that they have any sort of we they will cheer collective laws and then find themselves like the imperials, commies, *******s(classic usage), or if you like more contemporary links, modern Canada.

Honestly and truly the biggest reason why America is the hegemony and Canada is not is because Canadian collectivism shackles them. You can look this up, It was Canada the entire world predicted would be the hegemony based on natural resource and established trade routes. Their nationalism is what got in the way, or rather the English vs French tard **** that shouldn't even matter.
