Reckon I can be the judge of what's harmful to my kids and men playing dress-up and telling stories barely moves the needle for me. Not that I'd particularly choose to take my kids to one anyway, but if the library had suddenly replaced their reader for story hour with a ****** when little K was toddling I wouldn't have thought anything much of it Guess you ain't ever taking your little'un to a Christmas panto then? All kindsa cross dressing shenniigans going on in that grear British institution.

Way I see it this whole fkn issue is just a big storm in a teeny tiny teacup blown out of all proportion by the outrage media. Gender dysphoria is exceedingtly rare but very real and those who suffer from it basically just had really ****ty luck, more or less. I just can't see how hating em for being cursed with that **** makes sense.

99+% of us will never have their 'real' lives impacted in any significant way by transgenderism or gender dysphoria issues.. it's just all a big bubble of online outrage with almost no meaningful basis in day to day reality outside a few isolated and cherry picked stories.

Bothered? Bemused is probably more like it. Probably take me a few seconds to make the adjustment but I wouldn't drag my son away in horror if that's what you're asking. Doesn't seem particularly likely though does it? Read some of the more reactionary press and you'd imagine you couldn't walk down the street without tripping over a ****** or two whereas in the entirety of my life in Stockport and Manchester I don't believe I've ever heard of - much less been to - a Drag Queen story hour.

Look mate, I get it, yoiu find this **** deeply troubling even though it's doubtful whether you actually know any ******** personally or encounter any in your day to day. All I'm trying to tell you is that it just ain't an issue that I consider any kind of big deal. Trivial distraction far as I'm concerned when weighed against the broader crises facing our society - decdlining real wages, job insecurity, the gradual rolling back of our civil liberties and social security net.

Look I don't pretend to know why that image stirs outrage and disgust in you but something more like amusement in me, I don't pretend to know why the desperation of kids with gender dysphoria incites contempt and hatred in you but pity in me, but it is what is. Different people see the world different ways.
