Deion Sanders may have to get his foot amputated

What's up with all these clots? Still think there is no vax connection?

Deion Sanders may have to get his left foot amputated as he continues to suffer from blood flow problems in the area, .

“You just have to understand what the risks are,” vascular surgeon Donald Jacobs told Sanders on “Thee Pregame.”

    “Things can cascade.”

Jacobs also told Colorado athletic trainer Lauren Askevold that “he could lose the foot.”

Sanders, the new coach of the Colorado Buffaloes football team, has been dealing with issues with this foot for some time, including having to have his big toe and the toe next to it amputated due to blood clots running down his leg from the top of his calf.

Max Wohlauer, another vascular surgeon, told Sanders that the blood pressure measured near the left foot had been the same as the blood pressure in his arm a year ago, but is now at around 66% compared to the arm. “So those arteries have shut down,” Wohlauer said.

During Sanders’ time coaching at Jackson State, he routinely dealt with pain, including on game days.

“It starts hurting after a few hours, and I have to keep the blood circulating to get movement out of it,” .

“Like, I can make it through like three-quarters of a game, then after that, I’m on meds and everything. I’m limping, I’ve got a little stroll at the beginning of the game, and right at the third quarter I’m limping like crazy.”

The 55-year-old missed three games during the 2021 season with Jackson State due to complications with the foot.

Such a procedure will be life-changing for the retired 14-year NFL vet, and he understands the importance of getting it done before the start of his first season with Colorado where he’s put together a team led by five star cornerback Travis Hunter and two of his sons, Shadeur and Shilo.

“I want to do it this summer, because when we get rolling, I’m not going to have time to do it,” Sanders told the surgeons. “This is the best down time I have.”

Sanders went 27-6 in his three years at Jackson State and has shown an ability to recruit big-name players, making him an attractive candidate for bigger-name programs.

Colorado is going through a massive transfer overhaul in Sanders’ first offseason as he tries to turn around a team that went 1-11 last season.

Damn Prime Time will be very depressed. This dude loves the spot light and works hard for it. Hopefully they find a different solution.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Covid.

I didn't hear anyone even suggest that and I had not thought that.

but now that you mention it, why not? A friend of mine lost hearing in one ear while he was suffering from Covid. Another suffered a bout of colitis from which he will never fully recover.

So, how do you know this isn't covid related? Did the onset of his circulation issue predate the outbreak?

A lot of young and middle aged people are getting clots and other serious health issues since the vax was mandated. Pretty sure Jamie Foxx got done in by it. Problem is, the medical industry will never admit to it so it won’t be diagnosed as such.

I didn't bring it up out of nowhere. Read the first line of the thread.

Anyway, it's not about Covid because he said specifically what caused it. Blood clots from a previous surgery.
