Has anyone ever owned a Mini Cooper? Are they fast ?

My brother has had one for a few years. I don't get it. And, he's 6'3" so it looks like a clown car when we both get out. Ride isn't particularly fun, but I know some people like it. He's not had reliability problems. I just don't get the appeal. He paid way too much for that thing, IMO.

Regarding Kia, I bought my wife one of the sporty models 3 years ago and it's been really impressive. Not fast (she specifically didn't want a faster model) but I modded the suspension and it handles like a dream. I don't drive it often but when I do it's so much fun to take it through bends. Reliability is better than anything I've known. The features Kia loads on for the price are ridiculous.

I am looking for more information about mini coopers. They seem like very fun cars. For the price point of $30,000 USD would you buy one?

How fast are they? I saw one new Mini Cooper with 221 horsepower.

I was thinking down the line of maybe a Acura ILX but I randomly started to think about a Mini Cooper since I rarely see them around.

I know they have bmw parts, I used to own a bimmer and that damn car stayed in the shop and the maintenance kept me in the poor house.

My wife and I have Audis and my daily driver is the Honda accord. My Honda has 200,000 miles and it has zero issues.

My wife�s Q7 lease is almost up and i have my sights on Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX 570 and I will be buying those cars rather than leasing.

I plan on taking alot of family trips and I need a full proof SUV.. Im kinda debating whether I should go with a minivan or SUV but......

Productive and functional and cheaper on gas and if you have little kids - Mini van

Land Cruiser and Lexus LX- are top tier suvs. The only thing higher is my favorite car is the Mercedes G wagon. if you plan on long trips or camping trips you run your self into expensive oil changes and maybe wear and tear on a nice suv. But the land cruiser is a tank.

Final verdict - land cruiser it�s made to be a out door suv and it sounds like you are going to actually use it for its purpose . Land cruiser all the way.

Mini has a big racing background. I honestly thought only Europeans , women and fa6s drove them.

However I think it�s mostly in the USA , girls and ******* white mens and hipsters .

In the UK, I think street racers do tune them.

it's slow for the most part.. my uncle had one before, i believe his even came with a supercharger and it was still pretty slow.

Very good cars and well built like all cars built by the Germans. Fast, comfortable and reliable just the Beemers. Wouldn't think anything, just get it if you can afford it.
