the reason why i am asking this is because you always hear people say "see you when i get there".. or "save a spot up there for me"...

but if you go into the next life being re-born again then that would defeat the whole "see you when i get there" saying then.

both of those dont interest me at all.. if you go into the next life as a 97 year old then what's the joy of that? and if you get re-born again as a baby and have to start all over again, what's the point of wanting to go to heaven?

people who believes in god and heaven/hell, makes such a big deal about this. if im not going into the next life with all my current memory intact then what's the point of an after life?

i want to be able to go into the next life and be able to re-connect with my passed love ones, but if i go into the next life as a baby, what's the point of all of this then?
Obviously, not speaking from experience, because I have no memory of a past life and have never crossed the veil, to my knowledge....only speaking from what I've studied and learned and the opinion I've developed.

Heaven and Hell is a man-made construct and time, here, is relative. Because, in this reality, we experience time in a lineal fashion, we log it as such. So, 97 years seems like a long time.

That's not necessarily how it works on the other side of the veil. Over there, 1,000 years could pass, you could meet up with your friends and family who had "died" before you, none of you feeling any effects of age...in your "primes", so to speak, and spend time reminiscing about your life (lives) here on Earth, in this reality. Then, maybe you'll get bored and want to "experience Earth life" again....and choose to be reborn as a baby and take the next ride....or...maybe you'll choose to explore the cosmos and find some other planet and be born as a baby on some planet in orbit around Alpha-Centuri? Or maybe just fly through the universe in some sort of spirit form, invisible to "physical beings", being a guardian angel or just a watcher? Who knows?

Do you have people in your life who, when you met them, you felt an instant connection, as if you'd known them your whole life? Possibly, you have experienced many life times with the same souls, over and over again in different roles. In one life, you're brothers, in another, friends, in another, parents and children. The possibilities are endless.

We live in a three-dimensional world; but that is only a fraction of what true reality is....and we have barely scratched the surface.

              Not really.

A good reference point is the dinosaur era. Nothing we talk about now mattered at that time, so why does it matter now? Self interest.

It's one of these things we tell ourselves so we'll feel noble. Life is sacred. Makes you feel noble. Well let me ask you this: if everything that ever lived is dead, and everything alive is gonna die, where does the sacred part come in??

I don't think I existed in any form before I was born into this life. If I did exist, when did that existence begin? Our species has only existed a tiny fraction of a fraction of the time life has existed on this planet, which is only a fraction of the time our planet has existed...and so on.

If we are eternal beings, where have we been all our lives??

that dont make sense though.. so everyone in heaven will be around 20-30 then no matter the age when they actually passed away? like for example, if i passed away at 80, when i get to heaven, my spirit will be of when i was 20-30 year old?

so if a baby passes away at 2 year old, not even knowing a damm thing yet, will the baby go into the after life at the prime age of 20-30 or will it go into the after life being 2? and if this is the case then the baby would not know anything or remember anything from his/her past life.
