Developers and movie studios think a million tweet likes translate to sales, but they never do. How many game franchises have been ruined by people who don't even play their games:

Battlefield 5: female soldiers in WW2 because the developer felt guilty when his daughter said why there are never any female soldiers in games. Millions of sales lost, trashed by fans and now pretty much dead - no more updates.

Wolfenstein: the tough as nails archetype male **** killer action hero replaced by his two tween daughters. Trashed by fans. Franchise is now effectively dead.

The Last of Us 2: the father figure and symbol of patriarchy literally has his head caved in by a buff female with no rhyme or reason. Trashed by fans. Sony sent fake DMCA legalese and was behind the shutdown of several popular YouTubers, then turned off comments on the trailer along with Druckmann's LOU2 reveal video. However, they forgot to turn off comments for the Last of Us Part One PS4 remastered version play-through by Naughty Dog and it's nothing but fans smashing them in every comment.

Netflix is the biggest offender in this regard. EVERY original Netflix show or movie panders to the LGBT crowd. They have shows aimed at kids which practically scream, "Being Straight is Boring and Old". They've even started to cull their library, removing entire episodes and seasons that are deemed "politically incorrect". Wanna watch those "It's Always Sunny" episodes with the Lethal Weapon parodies? Tough ****.

The BBC is doing the same thing, removing episodes of Little Britain, which I never found particularly funny, but what a disgrace. And I'm from an ethnic minority myself, but when they produce movies such as "Mary, Queen of Scots" and have black people, latinos roaming the streets, it's intellectually dishonest and poisonous to young minds, who see this revisionist drivel as historical fact.

I don't care what side of the political spectrum you align to, this pandering is so obvious. It used to be subtle. Not anymore. Flash in Spider-Man, a blue eyed American now an Indian....please, I'm brown myself, but that is just ****ing ridiculous. What happened to just writing a decent story without marking checkboxes. So many great shows and movies could never be made in today's climate of cancel culture and snowflakes: The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, Tropic Thunder.....it's just ****ing depressing.
You are spot on with this.

But nobody cares if you are brown, or even if you do not care about about LGBT. If you say anything negative about it then you are against it.

And you are 1000% right with the shows that can not be made today. When I read about tv shows supposedly being rebooted, I think about how it will be affected by today's culture where everybody gets their feelings hurt.

I listen to music of the past, and I hear the lyrics and think to myself "man, artists cannot express themselves like this anymore." They are literally unable to. You can be worth hundreds of millions of dollars like Eminem as still be forced to apologize for calling someone gay in your lyrics.

I would not even be surprised at this point.

I think that what's going on is basically financial experts hired by these companies are probably watching trends for what happens when a game or tv show has a main character that represents ***** and how does the correlate with game sales/viewership and they probably see some sp/ke in sales in those games/shows compared to shows that do not have any representation of LGBT?

It appears that having the LGBT tag on something boosts sales. You remember the attention Orlando Cruz received when he came out as gay and tried to incorporate his ***uality into his boxing matches as an advertisement? That actually worked for him, it got more people to watch. And whether they were talking negative or positive about him, it did get more peoples attention. This is a pretty mediocre boxer who received more attention for coming out as gay than he would have ever gotten in his career.

Video games/tv shows are following trends and receiving more attention/money than they would have gotten had they decided to not make ***uality a big part of their game.

About last month, I bought GTA V on Steam and replayed it, I bought it years ago on PS3. I don't think a game like that could be made in today's climate. It offends every possible group out there. It already received criticism back then by the LGBT groups of being misogynistic and stereotypes women, but then it made $800 million in its first day and surpassed $1 billion within 3 days, the fastest money making entertainment product in history, it has now made $6 billion in worldwide revenue. The franchise has a very large and dedicated fan base. If Rockstar is smart, instead of worrying and caving into this climate of craziness and appeasing those groups, they should be worried that their fan base doesn't leave them if they decide to go this route that many game companies have gone. it's this dedicated fan base that has made them $6 billion not whatever outrage group on twitter.

          That is ridiculous.

I dont know why I have Netflix anymore. They are at the forefront of the social justice warriors and they ruining entertainment with it.

While yea, its true you have a choice on what to watch but what the hell, youre seriously just going to make every damn show gay as hell? There isnt a new series on Netflix, done by Netflix, that doesnt throw gay *** scenes at you. They are saturating their catalog with it.

I swear after Agent Petty in Ozark started getting head from some dude out of nowhere, I stopped watching Ozark for over 2 years. It wasnt until coworkers told me to try to see past that because its a good show. While it is a good show, it also has a lot gay sh/t going on in it. Like most Netflix originals.
Yeah, Castlevania Season 3 second to last episode. It comes out of nowhere.

I haven't watched Ozark yet. Thanks for the head up. All this forced diversity is terrible and inorganic.

I'm really not the type to care about such things. Honestly, that's none of my business. I tolerate everyone as long as they are minding their own business like myself, and not hurting anyone. But while i'm at home, minding my business, watching TV, I have to see gay scenes in every show now.

And honestly, I do not even care for *** scenes either (male on female). If I want to "watch" any of that, there are dedicated websites for that. I can watch a movie like e.g. The Godfather or Blade Runner all day, which have nothing to do with ***. But these new tv shows involving LGBT have a lot of ***ual content involved. As if LGBT = ***. All of these shows that involve the gay community involve it in a ***ual manner. As if gay people can't just be in some normal drama, or crime, or sci fi show? If they are involved, they have to be involved in some ***ual way.

For example, i'm gonna say Gotham did a great job at making Penguin gay without making that the focal point of his character, or making him be in gay scenes. He was just a gay villain in a crime/drama, and that's fine with me (and the actor himself is gay too). Changing an established character's ***uality usually won't have a good look, but I did not care about that in that show because the writers didn't make it a big deal. Dude was just gay and that's it, but he was still trying to be a boss of the underworld or whatever. That was the focal point of his character. He was still the same raging, violent Penguin that had mental issues and was very intelligent. They didn't make his ***uality 90% of his character, more like 10%.
The penguin character/actor is the best thing about Gotham! Jada Pinkette Smith however was terrible, she overacted so much that I had to skip all her scenes, and eventually I had no idea what was going on so had to stop watching it.

She definitely not my favorite character there but the way I saw the overacting (on more than 1 actor) was that this is a comic book show about a rising Detective Gordon and rising DC villains. So there was going to be wackiness and overacting.

The darkness of the show made up for it though. Im surprised it wasnt really that censored. If you compare it to the DC shows on CW, its a pretty brutal show and not for kids.

                    Yeah they besmirched poor Alucard.

                    I wish I was kidding.

The main animator later gloated on Twitter about how now Alucard was confirmed bi***ual (in Netflix agenda pushing canon)

I felt bad because I originally recommended the show to a couple of Castlevania fans....I have since rescinded that recommendation.

I honestly couldn't believe it when I watched the fricking episode.

                      WTF.

They better not try and pull that garbage on Super Mario.

Ok link doesn't work due to censors but basically Alucard is a video game character (straight half vampire male) and in the show they do him so dirty and make him bi and he cops one up the bum.
Article is from March 7th if anyone wants to read it.

Seriously wtf and f you Netflix for this agenda pushing garbage.

Son of Dracula reduced to a prag.
Lol. But you haven’t been experienced anything until you’ve watched the butt *** in American Gods.
