When I was a little boy my parents teased that the Chinos (Japanese) left me on the doorsteps of our home. Everyone was in on the joke aunts, uncles, cousins.and siblings.

After High School I decided not to go to collage and join the Marines. When I finished boot camp, School of infantry and Sea School the USMC sent me to Japan. My mom asked where are you going?

I replied "Home!"

She never said anything about the Chinos again! I came home with an Asian wife? Truth be told My eldest has a Masters, My 2nd eldest is working on his Masters and the youngest just finished his first year at UCLA.
