They've gone too much on the slapstick cheap gags and don't bother with the plots anymore. And when they put songs into an ep I just turn the ****ing tv off and open a can of stella, so I do. But the yank way is to continue on with shows and milk them for all they're worth.
Take a leaf out of Fawlty Towers' book or The Office and go out on a high I say.
