    Los Angeles, California, July 9, 2003: World Extreme Cagefighting presents the long awaited return of Frank Shamrock to the cage in �The Return of a Legend?on Pay-Per-View August 22, 2003 (check your local listings).


    Voted as �The Fighter of the Decade?by Black Belt Magazine and twice inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Frank Shamrock is a multiple world record holder, certainly the most widely recognized mixed martial artist in the world and his long awaited return to the cage has been THE most anticipated event in Mixed Martial Arts history.


    �Return of a legend?will headline the evening as 10 high impact MMA events that will include Mixed Martial Arts superstars ?Gil Castillo, Shonie �Mr. International?Carter, Jeremy "The Scorpion" Jackson, Nick Diaz, Joe Hurley and many many more.


    On-Camera Commentators will be Jeff Blatnick, 1992 Olympic Gold Medalist and NBC color commentator, as well as one of the most talented play-by-play announcers in mixed martial arts today, Ryan Bennett. Bennett has covered premiere sporting events such as the 2003 SuperBowl, the NBA Finals, Major League Baseball Playoffs.


    �Return of a legend?was directed by Academy Award Winner Joe Mayer and music for the events?produced by platinum selling performing artist and 4-time Grammy Award winning musician ?Romeo Antonio.


    This long awaited event marks a new era in MMA as an exciting new media release will shortly follow that will turn the sport of Mixed Martial Arts on it�s toes.

        Jeff Blatnick back in MMA commentating. He did an alright job for the early UFCs.
