Boxing as a historic combat sport of quality is the most superior.

As far as everything else goes, a 16 year old high school wrestler punk kid would pick up up Anthony Joshua and slam him on the concrete putting him in a coma. I love boxers and the sport for what they represent but as far as real fighting goes it would be like slapping a pre-teen cousin around. Sorry to say it bluntly but I think this is the type of reality you need to hear.

Ssshhh, the greatest fighter MMA has ever seen just had his ass handed to him by a 40 year old has been. Conor was lucky he had Boxing rules to save his life, had it been the streets he would have died.

Sort them out? You mean, like Art Jimmerson sorted out Royce Gracie or like James Warring tried to sort out Renzo? Just stop acting like this is some kind of huge victory. MMA guys lose at boxing, just like pure boxers with no grappling training lose at MMA. An experienced, talented boxer that has trained in the sport pretty much his whole life beat a guy with no professional boxing experience. Now, if Floyd won in a cage by TKO after avoiding takedown and submission attempts, you guys might have an argument.

Who ever said Conor was the greatest mma guy?. He is the most popular but that doesn't make you great at anything. He was just beat not long ago in mma.

You have to drop down to 125 lbs in the ufc to see the best they have to offer. Your last comment doesn't warrant a reply, your just being foolish/silly.

Yeah really. They're the ones that need to "shut it". Funny how we never hear from them when a boxer tries his hand at MMA and gets submitted in the first round.

Guess we shouldn't expect much from Mayweather fans, who have been brainwashed into actually thinking that he's somehow the best boxer ever when guys like Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali take huge liquid dumps on most of Floyd's resume. They also overlook the fact that to actually even be in the discussion of the best of all time, one actually has to fight the best available opponents at their best, not 5 years after they're a threat or avoid them entirely. If being undefeated made you great, then all-time pound for pound lists would be full of names like Sven Ottke, Joe Mesi and Joe Calzaghe, but they're not because being undefeated don't mean crap.

Conor talked up a fight that I'm sure he originally thought had no more chance of happening than Ronda Rousey vs Floyd Mayweather. He probably was more surprised than anyone it came off. He made his money...and that's that. It was never going to be a fight between 2 boxers...it was a farce but considering all McGregor did much better than anyone expected. Only in the crazy world of Floyd Mayweather could this ever have happened. It's all very forgettable.

Co0nnor boxed the head off floyd until he gassed.

I think boxing community are shell shocked how an "atg" was out boxed, rocked and made to miss by a complete and utter novice with 12 weeks camp of none boxing trainers.

It was a victory for mma, and im more of a fan of Boxing.

lol Floyd would get hurt if he ever stepped foot in the octagon. I mean legitimately hurt. In a boxing ring, Floyd used his 20+ years of experience to eventually pull through and get the W, but even then Conor gave Floyd a competitive fight for the duration of the time that he was fresh. And he's a 0-0 boxer. Imagine if he had pursued boxing as a full-time career and had year and years of training and experience for it under his belt.
