One fighter I would add, would be De La Hoya who really brought back the attention and money to the sport and the lower weights.
I may also add Duran for his contribution and iconic status in latin america.
Ray Robinson isn't on the list. That know you know your boxing, so surely that's a mistake? He was famous globally for being the original p-4-p and is the GOAT on many peoples list.
Then theres Harry Greb who should be there for the best record ever in a single year as well as arguably the greatest record of all time.
Corbett changed the game. Greb did not.
I agree that SRR probably should replace SRL on my list but not for the reasons offer, but instead for the Del La Hoya reason.
As far as Del LA Hoya goes, there were many small fighters before him that helped bring purse parity to the little guys.
The Latino thing with Duran is important and worth consideration. In some ways Duran opened the door for Lewis' acceptance, or the acceptance by Americans for all foreign fighters. I can see me giving that a rethink.
But personal achievement by any fighter (lots of fights and wins) in the ring, e.g. Greb, Pep, isn't important to the game just to that individual.
