Well, if Spence is still sending revised contracts, I can see why Crawford has a problem and made the decision he made. I’m still very disappointed the fights off.

In my opinion, both are at fault and I couldn't care less about the details. It was naive of me to think that the sport of boxing would improve the way fights get made, and not 'marinate' too long to the point of being past their expiration date when the fights are finally made. Obviously, it's still not too late (yet) to make the fight in the spring, but I am completely done supporting either one of these guys going forward. Obviously the fact that neither one couldn't give a **** less about my opinion, or any other fans' opinions is not lost on me, after all they're still getting paid, but it's getting harder by the day to continue to be a fan of this great yet frustrating sport.

This is an absolute farce.
Cue the hoards of fan boys who know exactly who is to blame here and have nothing better to do than berate the other.
The truth is, none of us really know who is to blame. It's always the frigging same with boxing, unless you're directly involved in the negotiations then you need to accept that all you know is what you've been told and, who your bias is with.
This was the latest this fight could have gone where we can all see that they're both in their primes. It's gone the same way as May/Pac and it'll be meaningless by the time (if) it gets made.
What a load of BS. Both sides want their greedy ass heads ****ing. Both of their next fights should be openly boycotted.greeneye99 likes this.

Too bad about the fight. This is the only fight I'll pay for from either fighter moving forward. I know losing one paying customer isn't the end of the world for either fighter, but damn it, I'm not spending a penny on another fight from either side until this gets made.P-4-P-King likes this.

Terence Crawford Defends Against David Avanesyan On Dec.10th On PPV
WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford will be facing David Avanesyan next on December 10th on BLK PPV at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
With Avanesyan’s power, you can’t rule out an upset win for him over Crawford, who has looked vulnerable to big shots since moving up to 147.
Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) and the Avanesyan (29-3-1, 17 KOs) has finalized contracts to battle on PPV, according to ESPN. The pay-per-view price is $39.95, and Crawford will get a career-high payday.
Surprisingly, Crawford will get the biggest payday against Avanesyan, who arguably isn’t as popular as some of his past opponents.
Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan reportedly signed for Dec. 10 on ******ing PPV
Terence Crawford doesn’t look like he’ll be fighting Errol Spence Jr, but also doesn’t look like he’ll be sitting out 2022 entirely.
.
Coppinger’s report says the fight will be available as a $39.95 ******ing pay-per-view on BLK Prime. Sources tell ESPN that Crawford “will earn a career-high eight-figure payday,” which sounds pretty crazy for something like this, but boxing is a weird business.

If Crawford sells X amount,
Spence's side will be forced to give in.
if he doesn't,
Crawford will be forced to concede and sign as is.
Either way,
this fight is too big to let go at this stage of negotiations.
it wouldn’t bother me at all if Spence-Crawford never happens. I’m much more interested in seeing Wilder against anyone, Bivol-Berbetiev and Davis-Garcia.
