Call me crazy, but circa 2000 Shane Mosley has the best shot. Great power, speed and an iron chin.

He's definitely got a better chance that most of the other guys there. Only Sugar Shane would have a chance of standing up to Hearns' power

Not a single one of those guys listed would beat Hearns. Hearns is an all time great that was in a division that had other all time greats. If Hearns was fighting this era he would be considered a top 10 fighter of all time, not top 35-40ish.

All of them have a chance except Marg, Mayorga and Cotto.

I would actually fav Floyd and Forrest over Tommy.

Out of that list I'd give Oscar the best chance.

Floyd? Hmm, doubt it, Tommy's boxing skills were insane, even when he was hurt.

But Floyd definitely has a better chance than Forrest. Remember, V.Forrest got taken out by a Mayorga right hand, and lost in a rematch too. I can only imagine what hearns would do to him

It wouldn't make me a greater or lesser fan of the sport if I had a different opinion, I love boxing, thats what makes me a fan. I think Floyd could last the longest but would have to be very defensive and not score points, Tito has the best punchers chance but still Hearns whiskers weren't bad especially at welter and I imagine Hearnd would end that fight fairly quickly. Theres only a handful of fighters at Welterweight I'd pick to beat Hearns, none are on your list.

Key to finding the right opponent would be finding someone that closes the difference in height/size, and having a good chin.

Prime Margarito would stand more of a chance against other Welters who have a size disadvantage, but I wouldn't put it against Mayweather to find a way to win.

Really? I think he would have some of the most problems, Hearns does everything better/harder and Oscar tended to hunch slightly, his defense would be so porous against Hearns.

He's very quick with his hands/ feet, killer left hook, he's a great finisher; combination puncher. I can't see anyone else having a better shot on that list.
