Rafael announces particulars of Ward HBO deal....

according to Dan, a verbal agreement is in place for a 3 fight deal. Ward will fight 2 slobs and then Kovalev next fall on PPV. So far, Nevada has approved only 1 of the opponents that were submitted for the Cotto undercard, that being Cedric Agnew.

The proposed opponents that were already turned down by the NSAC were:

    Rohan Murdoch
    Samuel Clarkson

    others still under consideration are:

    Blake Caparello
    Alexander Brand
    Schiller Hypolitte

Its just like that guy from Roc said. Andre is only going to fight the best.

What? No way they turned down Samuel Clarkson... other than him already having fought like last week, no way they turned him down for the same reasons as Murdok

He's the Texan that beat Agnew, he would be okay I guess, he's not highly skilled but he'll bring it, high output. Not sure why they turned him down.

What's the name of that pizza vendor Kov just fought? I suppose you guys think he'd be satisfactory for Ward to fight since it was good for Kov, even though he's 175 champ?

Don't even try to compare. Ward was DENIED by one of the most CORRUPTED commissions a fight because of the immensity of the mismatch. We're talking about a guy would drop everything to fight a 6 year retired Joe Calzaghe. Even Floyd fought decent competition after his hiatus. You need to understand one thing about the boxing business. Your favorite fighter is no different from another other star fighter. They will try to take the road of less resistance as much as possible for as much as possible. From Pacquiao to Floyd to Canelo to Golovkin to Ward.
