I think they should let Shabranskyy have a few more solid fights before fighting Kovalev or Ward.
I said after the Gonzalez fight that he looked great, but they should not rush him towards a Kovalev fight. Ward is almost the same thing. A Ward fight won't be brutal like a fight with Sergey, but if he loses he probably won't get back on HBO (or be given more opportunities). They should build Shabranskyy more.
Ward is not a bum like people like to say. He didn't get a Gold medal for no reason, even though it should have been Bronze imo; I don't think he won his semifinal bout, but that's a another story. It's crazy to think someone would just walk over him, especially someone who just recently stepped up.
So yeah I say build Shabranskyy a little bit more.Last edited by HI-TECH Boxing; 02-09-2016, 11:29 PM.

Shabranskyy still needs a little seasoning, but he's much bigger than Ward. Not a risk worth taking for Dre. I'm not even sure how Shabranskyy makes LHW, he's probably closer to 6'4 than 6'3 and he's not exactly skin and bone.

I really like Sullivan, he is a good, humble and funny dude, but Shabransky is just so tough and gritty, i think he is easily top 5 in the division already.
