Great, that would make a perfect opponent for his fight after Barrera

Not sure if he's better than Barrera. It's quite close. I'm just interested in seeing what Abel Sanchez comes up with for Ward.

They are about even. If the two fought it'd be perceived as a 50/50 type fight.

I think Slava vs Barrera would have been a good fight. Then the winner face Andre Ward. But it looks like Ward vs Barrera will be happening next month which will be an intriguing fight.

Slava is hopefully going to get a major push by Golden Boy this year.

Slava has the style and the skills to become a force in he division one day. I hope he's on HBO next against a top 10 light heavyweight.

Ernie Gabion mentioned Slava offered to fight Ward on the Cotto/Canelo undercard and Ward turned him down for that time too in favor of Murdock & Brand....... Then Slava went and had the tough fight with Yuneski Gonzalez. Guess he looked too good.

Exactly. Shabranksy looked way better against Gonzales than Pascal did, way too dangerous for Ward. Sulli-B didnt really face a top 20 guy in the division yet. I really like Sullivan, he is a good, humble and funny dude, but Shabransky is just so tough and gritty, i think he is easily top 5 in the division already.
