you are comparing apples to oranges. Saunders and Eubank would bring UK ppv money, which is where their purse money would be coming from.

Jacobs would not bring in any UK money, so his purse would have to come from somewhere.

My guess is no deal is reached and this fight goes to purse bid with the winning promoter sending it to ppv and crossing their fingers......

Hardcore boxing fans know this a waste of time and Jacob does not have what it takes to ever beat ggg. If it happens bring its gonna make all the racist Larrys mad when Jacob gets his $h!t pushed in

Hate to break it you but Jacob is beyond bum he is garbage this is a waste of time like other poster said let ggg get all the belts so that he can go up in weight

Jacobs has good skills and power, but not the greatest chin. Probably a ko for Golovkin over Jacobs.

Ggg destroys Jacobs in 2 RDS...will b a repeat of the Pirog beatdown! Jacobs chin is average...got dropped by feather-fisted Mora. And Jacobs is no draw...fights on Spike TV and fought in front of a half empty Barclay center against Quillen.

His defense will be much better vs a dangerous puncher, and can actually be elite defense in terms of plus/minus, but since he's so aggressive, he will get hit by clean shots and clean combos from time to time. Jacobs can hurt anyone with the right punch or the right one-two combo.

The most challenging fights for GGG right now are Ramirez, Jacobs/Degale/Canelo (can't separate them really without seeing it), and Eubank jr, in that order, because those guys all have athleticism and power, like Brook had, much more than someone like Saunders who GGG would just walk through. I hope we see one of those fights before GGG gets any older because I do worry no one good will fight him until he's truly passed his prime, then his speed will go and he won't be able to connect with the power early in the fight, then his stamina will go and he will gas, and then he will get lit up and lose, and all the haters will come out saying "see I knew he ******. I had to wait a decade to prove it, but I knew it! The first time he fought the elite level, he lost." Well yeah if no one elite would step up to fight him until he was clearly passed it, then it's obviously quite possible for him to lose that first fight.

That's why I think Loeffler would have been smart to get that legacy fight when he was 32 or younger, whatever the money, and just shut those doubters up. Let GGG prove that in his prime, he was elite, and then if he does end up losing when he's 36, 37, 38, people will at least know the truth that he aged like every other offensive fighter does in his 30s.

But those are the fights I want. Ramirez is extremely dangerous, they better do that before GGG gets old even if he wins the fight, he will be old by the time it's over. Degale is a versatile much bigger guy. Jacobs two huge punchers, speed and power vs less speed and insane power. Canelo extremely snappy powerful punches and a good chin. Those are the fights to make. Saunders would be good for like the Monte Carlo fight. That's the kind of fight that is, Martin Murray part 2. The other fights are real, dangerous matches against athletic guys. None are actually "dangerous" so long as GGG is in his prime, he would sweep every round in his prime, but at 34 almost 35, we don't know that's the case, so they should make those asap.
              You're spot on here:

I doubt you'll agree, but I thought that K2 should've never kept repeating "160, or no fight." It would've been worth the risk to fight Canelo @ 155! Some say Canelo would've still walked away, but at least we'd know. Now GGG has to wait for Canelo! In the meantime, I think Lara and Jacobs are great fights @ 160. After last night, I wouldn't recommend moving up to 168 until after a fight with Canelo!

I just don't see how this one gets made. Jacob knows he would get Pirog'd and will be looking for a big payout, but no one outside of NSB and his neighborhood know who the **** he is.

I see this shit going to purse bid, Jacobs complaining about the money, and then giving away the belt.

He wants at least 2 million and in pretty sure hbo wasn't going to shell out 5 million for a fight that probably do the same number as ggg-wade.
Are you saying that jacobs vs GGG doesn't do better than GGG vs wade? No one even knows wade. Jacobs has a following. His fight vs quillin, who is not as popular as GGG at the Barclay's center was bananas. . You think ggg vs jacobs won't do better than GGG vs wade? That's laughable. This is a good fight. The biggest fight for GGG at this time because Canelo is another fight away. GGG won't fight Lara and I think jacobs is a way better match up than Eubank or Saunders. This is a fight everyone would love to see. Before GGG vs canelo. Maybe if Ward beats Kovalev GGG would grow a pair and go fight ward at 175. If brook and Kahn can do it what's his excuse?

Eubank and BJS fight would take place in UK.
