300K is not bad for a fight with complete unknown Smith who has never fought on US TV or US soil for that matter, basically 2X what GGG did against Lemiuex who brought Canadian fans and was more known to US fans. Still early this is just based on satellite figures will need to wait for Cable and Live Stream PPV sales to be added for more concrete estimates. Satellite providers are the first numbers to come in but they only represent 26% of homes. So they take whatever the satellite numbers are and divide that by 0.26 to extrapolate it based on what they think the rest of the numbers will be if people buy at the same rate as they did on satellite TV. So there are still at worst 74% of the PPVs that need to be counted and calculated.

Didn't we already know that anyway? Floyd vs Guerrero,Ortiz,Berto vs Him vs Canelo,Oscar,Manny,Cotto..... It's always been that way and it's only getting worse for these cherry picking fks.... No he needs a quality opponent that fans know. Smith was complete unknown and you can bash Lemiuex but he had been on HBO and multiple US broadcasts and has a big canadian following. Smith I don't even think he has a UK following and has never been on HBO or any US broadcasts. NOBODY knew him and he was a big underdog. 300K is damn good like I said double GGG for what was billed at the time as the biggest and best fight of GGG's entire career. This was billed as a showcase fight. a mismatch vs a unknown.
