Crawford can't pull out of the Diaz fight either coz we all know the duckboys will be all over him. Really there is no reason to pull out anyway.

Crawford vs Diaz and Indongo vs Lipinets, and then the winners meet. This is common sense. If there wasn't so much greed and power mongering out there, these two fights would be on the same card in a double header format with the victors meeting each other next time around.
your post seems sensible in a perfect world. but thats not how it's gonna go. lipinets is trying to steal a unification in indongo and has no interest in fighting top comp afterwards. milking is what he's interested in. if so lipinets would have fought 1 fighter in the top 10 by now (he's fought none 0 zilp) he's looking at this as a quick money milking grab. lipines would never ever ever fight crawford.

it's the same thing with lipines countryman Troyanovsky. refused to fight crawford and got himself knocked out silly.

I agree a good unification is always good for boxing as long as the no.1 contenders are't overlooked for too long. It's good to see Ondongo getting some respect for his shut out win and a fight with Crawford would be the ultimate test for him.I'm a big Crawford fan but I have seen him hurt .Ondongo would make it interesting.

I'd bet there are 9 guys in the top ten & Diaz who'd disagree with me. That doesn't make it so doe. Certainly the public perception is that no one is anything except a very distance 2nd to Crawford right now.

I think Indongo should fight Lipinets first as another tune up to get ready for Crawford. But I definitely want to see Indongo and Crawford!!

If you never been here, how you can talk about it? That sounds like a ******ed logic

Commie bum....I'm laughing @ your ****** ass. So how you make money? I might be more succesful than you. I don't want to hear that **** from a person who's probably getting welfares or work for a boss. I don't have an upper hand. And I'm almost sure you're just a ****ing employee

You're proud of the country that was built on slavery, see there's nothing to be proud of, boy. I'm sure you want to bring those times back though

If that is the view people have then why not let Indongo KTFO this so called 'fraud' and fight Crawford next.

As far as I'm concerned/aware, it doesn't matter what Lipinets's agenda is because he earned the mandatory spot and the rules are that champs have to satisfy their mandatories. The unifications trump mandatories ordeal doesn't apply here coz Crawford already got a fight lined up.

Therefore, the way I see it, this is just the typical double standard mentality of today's society. People only want fighters to follow the 'holy' rule book when it suits their agenda, as soon as it doesn't they switch sides.

Like Canelo refused to satisy his mandatory obligation to GGG and everyone cried, but now some of those same people are encouraging Indogo to do the same. This is what bothers me the most. There is literally no other sport I know of where this phenomenon occurs.

I aint never heard of people saying Real Madrid should skip Atletico Madrid in the semi finals and play Juventus in the champions league final.

I know it aint exactly the same, but you get the point I'm tryna make don't you?

I don't see the same similarities you do here. To me I'm a fan of fighting not abc group rules. And for me seeing the top 2 guys fight at 140 & 160 holds more value than a silly abc group mandatory that was "earned" by beating Lenny Z. My desire as a fan is always to see the best 2 guys in a division competing vs each other first and foremost regardless of any or all potential titles involved in that fight. I care about fights not belts.

Boxing isn't the same as it used to be pre-all these abc group. Belts have been severely devalued.
