Before the fight, everyone in boxing was saying that it was a joke, that it wouldn't be competitive, that it would be boring, unpleasing the they eye, and Macgregor would look clueless and embarrassing. Myself included. We were all wrong. It turned out to be a fun and fan friendly fight, by far the most exciting fight Mayweather's been a part of since Castillo. The general public loved it and no one's complaining but people in boxing who don't want to admit they were wrong.

With May-Mac, people were told up front what they were getting, and it more than delivered. Now, Mayweather-Pacquiao? THAT was a scam.
It might have been exciting live, because of all the hype and the uncertainty. But I didn't watch it live, just a recording on YT next day, when I already knew the result, and it looked like a pile of crap to me.

McTapper couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag and Floyd realised that very quickly and just played with him till he ran out of steam.

I'm not giving him praises, I am pointing out public perception relative to a possible rematch.

But hey, more power to May & Con..making 9 figure paydays off of their moronic fan bases!
... I only said that's nothing wrong with exhibition fights... Who is forcing you to buy this kind of entertainment at that price?...

A rematch in the octagon might get them another 4million PPVs, but not another boxing match.

But heck, if a boxing rematch only did one 10th as well, that's $10million for Floyd and $5/6million for Conor. Not bad money for a knock-about pantomime show, so who knows?

Lampley can say whatever he wishes, smart fans know its just him taking shots because Floyd is on a competing network.

Bottom line is Lampley is talking about a retired SHO boxer because he is more on the radar than any active HBO fighter.
so exactly what did you say, because that always changes up soon as you get caught in your own mess...

first, you and your cronies was saying all this is, is a money grab exhibitition match...now, out your mouth, conor mcgregor was actually trying to win harder than seasoned professionals like pac and alvarez, despite the fact that his stamina couldn't carry him barely 6 rounds...

lampley was just making a prediction, based on floyd's penchant for no risk, high reward fights, and the truth stings apparently...

Let me ask you this, if pac didnt try and basically "gave up", then how come floyd didnt stop him like he did with conor? I mean since pac wasnt trying that's why the fight was boring (in your words)?? lol. I'll love to hear this one. How come floyd wasnt trying to stop manny?

Conor trying?? I thought Floyd gave him those early rounds to tired conor out, that was Floyd's game plan all along, when justifying floyd's poor performance remember?? Lol. Yall cant have it both ways.

trying to stop pac and alvarez would have meant taking a risk...
