    Gennady Golovkin feels that "80 percent" of the world will be backing him when he squares off with rival Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in a hotly anticipated rematch this weekend. The first bout resulted in a contentious draw a year ago and a scheduled rematch in May was postponed, with Canelo hit with a six-month ban for a positive test for the banned substance clenbuterol.

        Who the hell does Golovkin think he is making these kind of dumb presumptuous statements. He is sounding more like Abel every day.

        Now he thinks he is a statistician..... 80% will be backing him you wish !! The figure is more like 75.4% which is a big difference.


        I was not sure about the fight but Canelo on points for that statement

            I’m one of the 96% of fans that can’t stand Abel so if Golovkin wins, Abel wins so it’s Canelo for me.De la Hoya celebrating in Drag so long as he doesn’t leak his escapades is a small price to pay

                Yes... THAT'S what bugs me about this. Not that he's shyt talking, but that he's learned the lame azz Abe Sanchez method of talking crap. Sanchez is just fking awful to listen to. GG used to have one of the most charming personalities in the sport. Now he's coming across as bitter and frustrated.
