BJS and Smith have all the leverage

The reality is that GBP knows Smith and BJS are in turmoil to make 168. It’s quite possible that DAZN scratch their heads not understanding the WADA vs VADA rules. Making serious offers to Smith and BJS, meaning actual offers sent, DAZN has those as fact. Hearn would much rather have BJS vs Smith since these guys can take Oxilofrine and agree to doing VADA late in the UK. I think the WBA has no choice but to apply VADA with their agreement for Championship fights.

It’s like when GGG or Usyk had VADA testing literally at 20 day out marks before the fight. If fight fans don’t get that clue then it proves why many don’t understand when deals are agreed too.

Dont think for a second they wont take a stay busy fight in Murata. GPB will rightfully control the narrative that hes become the boogie man and the division is shook. BJS and Smith aren't factors in the american market they're totally interchangeable and wont even fight each other.

GGG would love to get him back in the ring and Saunders has been calling him out for years and more recently Bivol has offered to drop to 168 to fight him. Oscar has been making offers to champions that are so bad he refuses to say what the dollar amount is. He knew these offers would be rejected but he never wanted those fights anyway. He just wanted to say he tried to get Canelo a fight with these guys but they are all afraid of him. That is a lie of course. Canelo's last two opponents got 12 million each so no world champion is going to accept only a third that much knowing how big the fight is and how much Canelo will make. I think Saunders is the fight Canelo wants and I posted that right after he beat Kovalev. Saunders has a world title belt at 168 which is now Canelo's best fighting weight and preferred fighting weight. Saunders has been going down hill since he beat Lemieux and he is ripe for the picking. I'll bet Canelo fight Saunders in May and nobody else. Wait and see. Go read boxing scene top headlines and read that Saunders's people say the Canelo fight is almost a done deal now.

The dudes who should be fighting Canelo next are not getting an offer to fight. The dudes Canelo and his team want to fight are rejecting the offers. GBP and Canelo can either:

a. offer to pay more to get the guys they want or
b. man up and make fights with either andrade or GGG

Looks like Canelo and GBP are choosing to wait to see who between Callum Smith and BJS takes the lowest offer.
