my opinion? the clue is in the name 'illegal' immigrant. they shouldnt be offered any support whatsoever if they entered the country illegally, if so what is the incentive for people to stop doing it? bored of people making out like this is a complex issue, try and illegally emigrate into moscow and beijing and see what happens if you get caught

Ok. I agree. That said, they have been given support- housed and fed in Texas and then flown to northern cities.

Now you want those cities to leave them on the streets- creating another major problem. That doesn’t make much sense to me.

The incentives that must be addressed are the industries that hire illegals to maximize profits to stop doing so.

The issue is complex here in America. Moscow and China already pay their citizens inhuman wages. If America was a society that did the same illegals wouldn’t come here.

I will combine both answers.

Border Patrol may be overwhelmed but they got the additional resources they asked for. They aren’t doing the job.

IMO a complete overhaul- including firing- is needed.

Ok 60 people had to be rebooked.

Ok, I doubt that leaving them on the street will cause them to go back given they can’t afford to fly back to Texas or CA and many came from far worse situations. But maybe.

This is where your argument stalls.The incentives are the jobs they get in construction, hotels, meat/ food processing and agriculture. That is what needs to be taken away.

Instead, these illegals are given jobs in predominantly red states in these industries. They get hired to maximize profit because they take lower wages and no benefits or vacation.

Do you have a solution for taking these incentives away?

I provided two quick examples that contradict your insistence that they aren't being booked into hotels around the country. I could waste more time but I know you are going to ignore/dismiss every source and counter with a lame excuse as always.

These illegals are given work visas and permitted to jump the line ahead of legal immigrants going through the process. They aren't vetted and as the article I posted revealed most of them arrive without any form of ID. No one knows who they really are or their background. They were also allowed to cross the border during the peak of the pandemic without getting vaxxed and were allowed to even refuse COVID testing.

The solution is to prevent them from coming in and deport those who have.
