You don't like wine because your pallet is immature, its like scotches it takes time to tell the difference between the subtle notes in the different wine g****s.

I love getting lit but also like the taste of a good cabernet or pinot noir.

Honestly, there are very few things as refreshing as a cold beer after a day of hard work...or a glass of wine, depending on my mood, or, occasionally. for that matter, a finger or two of bourbon.

Would it be the same without the "effects"? Probably not, quite frankly.

Wine all tastes like crap to me. Maybe i've only had **** ones but surely even a good one wouldn't make me like something i hate. The thread starter is right though, if i was choosing a drink just for taste and not effect, beer wouldn't even be on my mind.

I like certain alcoholic drinks, but pretty much every time I've tried any kind of wine or beer, it ain't been pleasant. I mostly can't imagine drinking them to just enjoy them. If g**** juice had the same effect as g**** wine, and I had a choice, I'd definitely be drinking some g**** juice. For instance.
If you want wines that taste like juice, drink natural wines. It's wines that are made with little to no intervention, unlike conventional/commercial wines that have a **** ton of stuff added to them (which are the majority of wines as a percentage). One of the Instagram pages I look at frequently posts some really good wines. Look at these wines and tell me they don't look delicious. Also, natural wines will have you wake up feeling like you didn't even drink, since the only thing they're allowed to add is minimal sulfites, if they actually decide to put any in.

So they ad sulfite to natural wines. What is it that’s in ‘regular’ wine that isn’t in natural wine?

The amount they add is hardly anything compared to commercial wines. But like I said, that's if they decide to even put any sulfites at all, which a lot of them don't. There's actually a ton of additives that are legally allowed to be put in wine but here's some: up to 350 ppm of sulfites, a ton of added sugar or sweetener concentrate, ferrocyanide, ammonium phosphate, copper sulfate, mega-purple/red, synthetic pesticides/herbicides, commercial yeasts etc.
