I will have to see how it plays out first.

If Floyd KO's & Dominates Cotto @154lbs is that better than Pacs win vs Cotto?

AT A BIGGER WEIGHT THAT HES BEEN CAMPAIGNING AT AND DEFENDING A BELT AT, OR A CATCHWEIGHT...
THIS ONES A NO BRAINER.....
Mayweather gonna hit Cotto with everything but the kitchen sink, and he might hit his ass with that too. LMAO, Hes gonna be on Cotto ass so hard that cotto is gonna think Floyd is hitting him with margaritos tainted wraps.... Hell Floyd night hit his ass with Margarito for good measure lol...

Yes, a dominant KO win probably does the trick although I'd be inclined to call it even if really pressed. No weight drain is significant.

I personally don't think the weight makes a single difference for Floyd because as I've always said I don't think Cotto really belongs at 154 pounds, I think he only went up in weight because there was literally no one left to fight at 147 and the Foreman fight was a unique opportunity for him to become a champ again.
There is no real size advantage for Cotto fighting floyd at 154. Floyd can come in at 149 if he wants and it wont matter, imho.
And You say oh the weight dont matter like you know and Roach dont , its an oxymoron knowing that Pac ducks Cotto without pulling Cotto down in weight , thats a handicap what is the matter with you how can you disregard the DUCKING without a CW and then say the weight dont matter , it makes no sense at all .
Floyd is fighting the Cotto Pac ducked , Floyd wins this poll just on that and when he flogs Cotto its a much better win than a weight drained Cotto that said he sacrificed his body at the weight .
You fanboys just ignore so much .

if mayweather wins by domination then his fight would be more impressive because 1) he is THEE DRAW but he went out of his element and to the opponents normal comfortable weight to fight him 2) he did not weight drain his opponent...we as fans dont understand the significance of tryong to lose weight in 6-8 weeks and maintain all your strength...pacquiao made cooto come down to 145 the first fight, then he really skeletonized ODLH and made him lose over 12 lbs to come down to 145 as well, and just look waht Eric Morales just said on his last fight, if he would of tried to lose 2 more lbs then it would of totally affected him in his fight vs garcia....so we as non boxers dont understand the significance of losing weight because it drains the **** out of you.......EVERY pacquiao fight he has to have an advantage, check below:
1) makes cotto come down to 145lbs (weight drain by 5 lbs)-advantage Pac
2) makes margs come to 150 for a 154 title (weight drain 4 lbs) adv. Pac
3) makes ODLH come to 145 (a weight drain of 10 lbs) advantage Pac
4) would not accept a CW with cotto at 150 but wanted CW at 147- adv. Pac
5) makes jmm come up to 147 (jumps 2 weight classes) advantage Pac
6) makes bradley come up to 147 (move up 1 weight class) - advantage Pac
Floyd on the other hand:
1) fought ODLH at his natural weight of 154
2) made ricky hatton move up 1 weight class
3) fought SSM at 147, SSM the CHAMPION at his natural weight
4) fought Ortiz at 147, Ortiz the CHAMPION at his natural weight
5) fighting cotto at 154, Cotto the CHAMPION at his natural weight
6) fought jmm at 144 but floyd came in at 146
The point im trying to make is that floyd never weight drained any of his opponents

Sup everybody, im new to this forum so bear with me. As far as the thread question I like to take into account where the fighters (may and pac) were in their careers as well as the circumstances surrounding the fight.
In Pacs case, even though he was gaining praise, I remember A LOT of people doubting whether or not he could beat cotto. So if it was just that then Pacs win would be greater IMO. But the fact of the cw, cotto with a virtually no trainer, looked bad vs clottey, etc. it kinda took away some of that shine for me.
In Mayweathers case, this is the first time he is going bac to 154 since what? 2007? Thats five years ago. We all know he hovers around the 147-150 mark on a regular and now he's facing a Cotto who is like three years later, coming of 3 k.o wins (ok wins), a new trainer, and probably the most important thing: a redeeming win over the man who damn near broke cotto's spirit: margarito. So if mayweather "Gatti's" him and k.o's him.....i might have to lean towards Mayweather on this one
