I think cotto is still not too much past his prime, he hasnt been like the fighter he was when he has zero, has heart and is hungry but he has made recent improvements. Ofcourse, I give manny a lot of credit for fighting cotto, which before I didnt want to happen because i thought cotto would dismantle him, manny was 138 when he fought hatton and the 145lb weigh-in wasnt a deal for me like many fans here mention that cotto went weight drain during that fight so that they can hype the floyd-cotto at 154. floyd is also big so i dont bashed manny for not wanting to fight at 154 because he is small, but IMO he would still beat cotto at any weight. I'd give floyd just as same credit as manny did if he again does what he does best - a complete shoutout of miguel cotto - like what he did to marquez or even better because he has stepped up his offense lately, if he would gatti'd cotto then i'd give him more credit, cause i dont think which is which the stronger cotto the one who fought pac version or now

If Floyd KO's & Dominates Cotto @154lbs is that better than Pacs win vs Cotto?

No....PAC TKO Cotto is like Floyd TKO Hayes.
Floyd: What PAC is doing is equivalent to as if I was knocking out heavyweight.

It would have been much, much BETTER, if you'll make complete comparison on how they performed on common opponents such:
1. Oscar Dela Hoya
2. Ricky Hatton
3. Sugar Shane Mosley
4. Juan Manuel Marquez
5. Miguel Cotto
You gotta give all of these opponents a FAIR SHAKE and not make wild speculation that tends to favor your Idol Floyd Jr.

Floyd Lovers/Manny haters: "Floyd absolutely gets more credit if he whups Cotto. He's not fighting him at a bulls**t CW".
Manny lovers/Floyd haters: "Cotto is Pac's leftovers, Floyd's get NO CREDIT for beating Cotto because Manny already did."
Reasonable and objective people: "Pac gets more credit because he beat him first. Floyd still gets his props for beating Cotto at 154 though, same way Pac got his props for beating Hatton".
If we're talking out of the common opponents, here's my take on who gets more credit for their win.
De La Hoya: Floyd > Pac
He beat him first, when Oscar was coming off a KO win to get a title. Oscar was past his prime, but Floyd still went up to 154 and beat him, and there's no way in hell that fight should have been a SD. Manny only beat him at a 145 lbs, where Oscar hadn't fought at in 8-9 years or so. Pac really gets n credit for that win.
Hatton: Floyd > Pac
He beat him first, when Hatton was widely considered prime and was #8 P4P, unbeaten. It's the same thing as Pac fighting Bradley now pretty much. Pac still beat a past prime-still good Hatton coming off decent wins over Lazcano and Malignaggi, and he beat him at 140 where he was unbeaten. Floyd still beat the unbeaten and prime version though, and did it first, but Pac still gets his props for this fight, rightfully so.
Marquez: Pac > Floyd
Some can argue that Pac didn't really beat JMM in 08' at 130, I thought JMM won and so did many others, but Pac still beat him first and at 130. Floyd beat a past prime-still good version of JMM as well, but only at 144 lbs. Floyd should still get his due for shutting JMM out though, given that JMM just arguably beat Manny last year at the same weight.
Mosley: Floyd > Pac
Floyd beat Mosley when he was coming off knocking Mayorga and Margarito out. He was a title holder, in the top 10 P4P after knocking Marg out, and was the highest ranked WW at the time. Everyone was saying he wouldn't fight Shane after that, but he did and whupped him. Manny fought him after losing to Floyd and probably should have lost to Sergio Mora. He doesn't really get any credit for that in my opinion, it was beyond pointless.
Cotto: Pac > Floyd
Pac still would have beaten him first. I don't put too much stock into the 145 thing, just my opinion. Cotto is past prime-still good in both fights, but Pac still will have beaten him first, therefore deserving more credit. Floyd will still get his due for beating Cotto at 154 though, rightfully so.

If you didnt sound so fking biased maybe people would give a proper opinion
*** people who start threads with an agenda
And no, Every1 was still saying cotto was going to win and manny couldnt handle him
Cotto had been coming in at the same weight for 2 previous fights
Manny was still adjusting to the WW division

Pac-tards would think so as they think Pac's victories over De la Hoya, Hatton and Mosley where better because he beat them "better" or KO'ed them faster.
Ironically Pac fought them years after Floyd did but to a pac-tard, it's not about when but who......

I just go by "What have you done for me lately." As you said Cotto had just been demolished by Marg and went life and death with Clottey. He is on the upswing and has conquered his demons (Marg) so he is on the upswing. Still a good win for each fighter though.
