There are exciting fights every week on hispanic-language channels. Why can't you settle for non-descript guys scrambling their brains? Spurs or Suns. You are a Suns fan, but the Suns never make the final.
What do you ultimately care about?

The only person who Bhop ever ducked was Chad Dawson. Dawson, despite his many flaws, has real skills and would probably give Bernard a hard time if they fought a dozen more times. Kovalev and Stevenson are dangerous in other ways, but neither of them has Dawson-level skills. Bernard sees things that no other fighter (besides Floyd maybe) sees, so if he steps into a ring with someone, I would worry about that guy. As far as ducking goes, if BHop's not afraid to get it on with Stevenson, then he's sure as **** not afraid to mix it up with Kovalev.

He is far past his best but the "oldest greatest fools the kids but not the insiders"!
nataz what I forgot you'll never know, I said he could give Stevenson & Kolav better fights than their opponents have isn't that a compliment? I don't think much of them talent wise but when an 50 yr old man has a chance of defeating much younger so-called champs that's pretty good.
Don't be rude to your elders and say things like shut up to me. If you don't like it just ignore me. As I will ignore you nataz is that your name? Funny sort of name? Is that your real name or an internet logo/avatar kind of thing? HA!

No surprises here. Once the plan to get BHops the belts was put into motion (with the Shumenov signing) Kovalev was always in danger of being sidelined - notice how the Stevenson switch came immediately after Kovalev was locked in with HBO.
In the run up to the Shumenov fight it was the same story as we're hearing now - Hopkins was talking about unifying and being undisputed but Kovalev and the WBO belt weren't really being mentioned. It's kinda like if they say it enough times it'll be accepted.
IDK if Kovalev beats Hopkins or not, I think he could, and IMO he's got a much better chance than Stevenson stylisticly - but either way it's pretty clear Hopkins never really wanted the fight to happen. I for one do not believe Espinoza turned down Hopkins - Kovalev for Hopkins - Murat without consulting the old man, who, like Floyd is firmly in control of which fights he takes.
If Hopkins really wants to be unified or undisputed, however, it's he who has the power to make it happen, though possibly not until Kovalev has had another coupla fights to see out his contract.

And being the best is subjective. In the case of the light heavyweight division, there are two names to discuss in terms of who is the best. And those two names do not include Hopkins. It's either Stevenson or Kovalev. If Hopkins wants to call himself the best in a division, he should see to it that he's taken on the bet in the division. The titles he currently has are out of circumstance unfortunately. Not to discredit Hopkins, because what he did was tremendous. But Shumenov is not Stevenson and it's not Kovalev. Either of those two will walk him down and right through his offense.

Kovalev isn't the best but neither does anyone have that claim. Kovalev would be a "unified" champ if Campillo didn't get robbed against both Shumenov/Cloud. Odd how someone else could end up with those belts and be considered the best even though they were both paper titles. There's no claim to the throne until it's unified, completely. Hopkins vs Stevenson is a good start, but to be undisputed the winner has to face Kovalev or else it simply is disputed.

Richard and Bernard BOTH specifically stated that if Frankenstein in their words "CROSSED THE STREET" then the fight can be made...clear as day!!!
it fits the agenda to THINK CERTAIN dudes pump fear into others....is that it?!?....the lady who carries Frankenstein around on a leash should be offering bjs to the SHO execs right now...or ****ing HBO execs upside the head with her Gucci bag demanding a release
no matter how many of you cry, kick and scream...the LHW division is about Bernard Hopkins and his pursuit of becoming THEE LHW champion.....after the OG walks off with the belts that MATTER....the division can be about Frankenstein and his mythical spooky aura...smh
