no.....you dudes are ACTING unreasonable for whatever reasons(say that back about 3 or 4 times...sounds smooth )

this should be about getting the Frankenstein dude across the street where the other TOP 175 ponders are.....why is it so complicated to see that there's a network conflict going on and the fights that this conflict affects?!?....it's EASY for suckers to blame and accuse the fighters for the ****ery the dudes behind the curtains be doing......like I said, the lady who sold him should be trying to buy him back so he can match up with RELEVANT fighters at 175

Aren't logistics right in Showtime now Espinoza?
The "logistics problems" (back in 2013) were immediately over after they sent the killer to the UK.

I'm not being unreasonable - it's the simple truth. The winner of Hopkins-Stevenson still isn't undisputed. That's something they'll have to live with as well if the fight(s) never happen. Can't have it both ways - run away from Kovalev(Adonis) for bidness, and then Hopkins say things like "Showtime doesn't want Kovalev-Hopkins" before Kovalev signed to HBO and still act like you've wanted the fight all along. It doesn't work that way, unless you're a fanboy.

dude...do you REALLY think Kathy Duva and John David Jackson was ready to have their guy fight BHop?!?....all the bs aside.....lets get deeper than media released info....because you're making reference to something he said while Murat was having visa issues...he's put in 24 rounds since then and now it's time you take reference to what he's PRESENTLY saying....be reasonable with the hate!!

You are so far gone. Hopkins is playing the Showtime scapegoat that only a biased fanboy from Philly couldn't see.

Duva matches up her fighters tough - she doesn't care, she would've put him in with Hopkins, just like she's mad that Stevenson ran. Now, I don't even have to ask you what you think about it on the other side... Hopkins' words say it better than your mumbling/stumbling could.

Bernard Hopkins (2014): "No Need To Face Sergey Kovalev"

6/19/13 Hopkins would face Kovalev, but ...

"[Kovalev] is a good puncher and some people are excited about him," Hopkins said. "He's a better quality name than Karo Murat is."

The reason for Showtime's possible reluctance to put on Hopkins-Kovalev is because it is not heavily invested in the division and doesn't have any future rights on Kovalev, so it wouldn't want to build him up only to see him beat Hopkins and then go to HBO, which is doing a ton of business at light heavyweight and super middleweight.

So while Hopkins waits to see what will happen, he made a suggestion -- that Kovalev go fight Cleverly, and he would be happy to face new champ Adonis Stevenson, who drilled Chad Dawson in the first round June 8 to win the lineal title Hopkins used to hold (as well as an alphabet belt Hopkins used to own before losing to Dawson). Stevenson said he was interested in fighting Hopkins after beating Dawson.

"For me, it's a no-brainer," the 48-year-old Hopkins said. "Kovalev can go get Cleverly, I can probably get Adonis and we go head-to-head and give the fans the old light heavyweight battles they had in the late '70 and '80s, and then the winners can fight."

Pretty sure there is a cold war going on but you just want to denigrate Hopkins' name.
